A Certificate of Lawful Development is sought to confirm the existing lawful use of the detached annexe building within the curtilage of Cricket Green House as ancillary accommodation to the main dwelling house. The annexe has been used for residential purposes incidental to the enjoyment and occupation of the principal dwelling and remains functionally and planning-wise subordinate to it, rather than operating as a separate self-contained dwelling. The area to which the application relates is the detached annexe building shown on the submitted plans, together with its relationship to the main house within the same residential planning unit.
