Full proposal

Phased redevelopment of the site including the refurbishment and conversion of Legal & General House and St Monicas House and new build accommodation, comprising: up to 122 later living units and supporting facilities (Use Class C2), split between up to 62 units within Legal & General House and up to 60 new build units; up to 177 residential units (Use Class C3) split between up to 86 units within Legal & General House, up to 19 units within St Monica's House and up to 72 new build units; up to 573sqm office floorspace (Use Class E) and up to 5,611sqm leisure floorspace (Use Class E) within Legal & General House. The proposal also includes excavation works to create accommodation and car parking at basement level; refurbishment of the existing indoor swimming pool and new outdoor swimming pool; new access from St Monicas Road; and associated parking, engineering and drainage works throughout the site and landscape and biodiversity enhancements including the retention of the meadow / open space to the east of Legal & General House and new play area.
