Reduction in height by approximately 1/3 of two Yew trees (marked as Tree A and Tree B on the enclosed plan) that have grown to in excess of 36 feet, are overshadowing the front of the house and the lawn, are interfering with the overhead telephone cables and are at risk of causing damage to nearby drains and house foundations. These works will not negatively affect the character or amenity value of the trees, while increasing the overall light levels, and the work is planned to maintain the overall shape of the trees Removal to ground level of non-native Conifer tree (marked as Tree C on the enclosed plan) that has grown to excessive height and spread, is inhibiting growth of the front lawn and is close to a neighbouring garage. The tree will be replaced with a smaller, native tree
