Proposal

Use of part lower ground and ground as retail use (Class E); flexible use of the first floor as retail or office use (Class E) at first floor; office accommodation in the remainder of the building. Replacement of the facades of the building with a new curtain walling system and new shopfronts at ground floor level; alterations to Stafford Street façade, including replacement of windows; conversion of existing ground floor garage to create new retail floorspace, including removal of rolling garage door and replacement with new shopfront; alterations to the existing rear glazed staircase; creation of new external rear fire escape stair including removal of existing stair, infilling of floorplate between levels 3 and 6 to create additional floorspace and new external stair from ground to sixth floor; lateral extensions into the rear lightwell at level 1 and level 2 to create additional floorspace; creation of external roof terrace at third floor level with new access door; installation of plant equipment at sixth floor roof level; and internal alterations throughout the property and other associated works.
